As these units come to a close of being heat sources for your home, Spring is a good time to do a thorough cleaning and inspection in preparation for the next heating season. We strongly encourage you to perform a deep clean on your solid fuel appliances. If you need our assistance, we can service the unit for you, otherwise we have gasket material, gasket cement, glass cleaner, ash vacs and rotary brush systems to make the cleaning process easier. We highly recommend that you burn through any fuel left in the hopper of your pellet or corn stove. It is best to not allow fuel to sit in the hopper all spring and summer as it can take on moisture.
