About Us We have a 4000 Square foot showroom featuring over 70 different products and 17 burn units for you to see and experience. We are off the beaten path, but easy to find as we are located on the frontage road that parallels the north side of Highway 14 just east of 47 in Woodstock, IL. Go to our Location page for directions Welcome to Lifestyle Energy's website. We are Wayne and Mary Pearson. We have been serving the greater McHenry County area since August 2006 helping customer take control of their energy costs. We have helped customers make educated decisions in how to better heat and cool their home with the products we sell. We not only sell a wide range of products, but we also use them in our home. We heat our home with two pellet stoves. One is inserted into our masonry fireplace and the other is a freestanding unit that sits in a room with a two story ceiling. Rarely, if ever, does our forced air furnace turn on. Even if you don't choose to heat your home with an alternative energy product like we do, alternative energy is a great way to add heat on those cold days, and it is great when natural gas or propane gets too costly! We keep our home cooler having the Solar Dynamics Solar Powered attic fan installed on our roof. We have found that as a result of the fan, our second story doesn't get as hot, our air conditioning doesn't have to work as hard. The main reason our air conditioning doesn't have to work as hard is because we have a whole house fan installed in our home. A whole house fan draws cool outside air through open windows on a cool summer evening or night, cooling the inside air. When the air conditioning is in use - it doesn't have to run as long to get the house cool The whole house fan cools your home for a 1/10th of the electricity than your air conditioning uses. OUR INSTALLERS : Larry has been installing fireplaces and doing home improvements for over 20 years. He is experience in all sorts of install including gas fireplaces, wood inserts, pellet inserts and much more. He is an incredible addition to our staff and we are very thankful to have him on our team. Rick is a great encouragement to Lifestyle Energy. He works along side Larry with installs. He loves cleaning and bagging corn during the heating season! He works great with his hands and is a very hard worker. He's a take charge kind of guy who gets the work done and does it well! Kyle is our college age son, who on weekends during the school year enjoys doing installs. During the summer months, he is working full time managing our warehouse in between installs. Much like his dad, Kyle is very analytical and works well using his time doing a good and thorough job. Wayne, not only runs the business, but is often found installing stoves or our summer products alongside Larry, Kyle or Rick. He is also quite busy doing pre-install visits or service calls. If you have a technical question about our products, Wayne is the guy! ADMINISTRATION: Mary is normally the one who will answer the phone. Her knowledge of product is good - but Wayne far outweighs her. Mary takes care of all of the purchase orders invoices, and follow up calls. Mary also publishes the newsletter and tried to keep the web page updated. |
